extremely difficult. unless alot of working experience &/or very active in school/national activities or leadership appointments.

besides... sounds like she just want to get a degree for the sake of getting one. keyword: "any". application wise, wouldn't look good.

it would be difficult..and also SIT degrees are in niche areas if u notice...they do not have those business or arts n social sciences degree programmes...SIT is probably not the type to have the mindset of getting into any course.

what matters most is what your friend wants to do. and does your friend even have a relevant diploma to any of the offered degrees? if not, she can forget it as cut off point wouldn't even matter anymore.

if your friend isn't another typical lazy singaporean and done proper research she can actually look at the online application form.

there's a section with these 2 questions, "How would these support your choice of programme(s) and help you attain your goal(s) in life?" & "what are your plan(s) upon graduation?" how is she even gonna answer that if she doesn't even know what she wants to accomplish. SIT is quite anal about personal statement in relation to your choice. if she's just gonna choose every single thing just for the sake of getting in she's got alot of explaining to do.

Might be possible. My fren around 2.5-2.6 got into UNLV the hotel administration course. Ur fren can try that. I guess the Culinary Arts Management and hotel administration from UNLV should have lower cut off points...Btw, why can't your fren find out herself?

The last I read, some courses in SIT have the lowest GPA of 2.5. 2.33 is lower than even the lowest, your friend may want to be mentally prepared.

New universities is not like new polytechnics whereby they can be treated like a dumping ground. The government is smarter this time round; all the courses are so specialized that you can't anyhow choose and expect to get in.
