32gb of ram is not uncommon for 3D artists.

If you need to sculpt or work on high-poly meshes, use lots of large textures or have complex scenes with thousands of objects in them, you might want to go with 64GB of RAM.
16 GB of RAM can be enough for many starting out with 3D, but usually, you outgrow this quite quickly. And need to upgrade to 32 or 64gb

Wow, such a long post , thanks bro for your kind inputs.

Gaming Laptop is actually not both me and my daughter choice as we still prefer a smaller and lighter laptop as we do understand she need to carry to/fro school and it will be quite a burden, but then from NYP website and a call to the school, haizz.. the choices are limited and the specs must be as per the school requirement or better, thus thats why we are going only for those few models which the GFX is 1650 or higher and within the 1K+ range for the time being.

I do agree that MACs are mostly used in Design company and in future, my daughter might even propose to get a MAC for her own usage, but as of now, we will just stick to the specs requirements as per NYP SDM Architectural course and will see how she fare in the course before we decided on the next upgrade.

But really appreciate your kind post with many thanks.
Oh!!! SDM architectural course

Just a post to thanks all the bros here for the recommendations and advices, after bringing my daughter to view , my daughter finally decided on IdeaPad Gaming 3 (15) (Onyx Black) Part No: 82EY002KSB. Though is not really the ideal laptop for her due to the size/weight, but due to school/course requirement, we just have to accept it. And I managed to get a not bad deal from Lenovo direct.

Thanks and appreciated Bros ! Have a great weekend !

Good to know that your daughter selected a laptop. While it is bigger and heavier than ideal, its actually not a bad thing to get one with a bigger screen for prolong usage, and potentially slightly better cooling solution than an ultra compact laptop.

Many thanks. Actually not much options to choose with the budget we set, so is just either between this Lenovo Gaming 3 and the Asus F571 or the options from the school (Only Lenovo are available while Acer/Asus are Pre-order). Hopefully she will do well and really interest in the course and then we shall see if requires to change/upgrade.

Good choice...Lenovo...
Just try to avoid Asus.
Quality for Lenovo's laptop is good based on recent experiences. The only letdown in my opinion is the battery life because both the ThinkPad and IdeaPad I got (1 with an AMD and other with Intel processor) fare very badly in terms of battery life. But considering the price, something has got to give. So can't complain much.
