Porsche Design Mate 10

Anyone plan on getting the Porsche Design Mate 10? I have done abit of research and both the mate 10 pro and porsche design mate 10 has the same exact dimensions and can share the cases and screen protectors available in the market.

Any takers so far for this phone? Launching 24th Nov 2017.

I have the sane tots as you but I just feel the itch about the Porsche Design despite knowing the extra money is not getting much extra and very little in fact.....

control your itch... unless you're super high salary scale lah then can afford to splurge...

for most peasants like us, the mate 10 pro is good enough (just like how people go for iPhone 8/8+ instead of X)

It is not worth the difference in price for the incremental improvement. And if you are going to cover it with some case, then forget about it.

true and yes Im usually cover with a clear back case. the price seems way over the top too

I am in your shoe as well. Still controlling myself hard. Ha. Maybe will try to buy Mate9 Porsche as it costs around $1k now.

I got it via a friend. Seems to be a malaysia set but the box has the IDA label though. $1750.00. Checked via huawei waranty online when I first powered it on. Exactly a year’s warranty. So means its really brand new and not a resealed set.

The price is still very steep considered last year product. What phone you are using before Mate 9 Porsche?

I was using the Huawei P10 Plus. Sold it to get the PD Mate 9. So far so good. Yeah but save a few hundred bucks over the PD Mate 10. Hehe

yeah i found it unbelievable too till I went 313 today and was informed all out of stocks and can only put name to Q and no deposit allowed. the sales gave me. the feeling he donwan to sell the phone to me. behaving like. watch boutiques. trying to maintain exclusivity. turned me off straight away. wont buy anymore porsche design phones if they continue partnership with huawei. saved my money and rather spend on watches instead.

Apart from the premium feel, how u feel PD compare to p10 plus in term of camera n other aspects? As their spec quite similar.
