Normally manufacturers create the supposed shortage/ exclusivity by limiting supply. If they are so short of stock, the likes of Mate 10 Pro should also be in shortage. There is barely any difference between this and the Mate 10 Pro other than the higher storage capacity and chassis. Once the hype is over and dust settles, it is just another Android phone.

Because I have to say it looks attractive especially with the Porsche word on it. Even a normal Mate 10 Pro do attract attention.

Secondly it is interesting to people why a China brand Android phone cost north of 2 grand. I have had too many people asking me why I got a China phone for close to 1grand instead of iPhone quite a number of times.

Probably the Porsche trademark is more expensive than Apple.
