Got my BEAMS X Porter bag yesterday.

dear all. like to check u guys on the maintenance of your porter bags.

I have a helmet bag (or whatever u call that) since feb, and been using it as working bag.

I notice that whenever water or rain drops on the bag, it will leave a faint stain there. I tried using a damp cloth to wipe, it doesnt really remove the stains.

Any suggestions???

Hi can any kind souls help out in the transalation of the shop addresses namely for those in Kobe, Namba, Kyoto. Have tried babblefish but direct translation proves useless, am going to these places and want to drop by the shops to pick up some bags.

its definately bigger if u are wearing skinny jeans but if u are wearing straight cut and still barely squeeze in

i've the map there, am now in kyoto(go nishiki market area for another porter shop), there's a shop at ueno market(toyko) that sells porter along with other jap brands... its my friend's brother's shop, so i managed to get 10% off, quite a good deal...

if you're looking for normal models, then departmental stores like daimaru, isetan, tokyu will have... can claim tax refund (5%)

the small porter shops are really carrying compreshensive ranges... simi luggage label, proter jam ah... blah...

its the luggage label series... was told (through keywords, my friend can speak very little english only, and my jap hopeless) that its supposedly made of more durable material, in my opinion the feel is similar to my samsonite, stiching is comparable as well,....

alright its along a long long stretch of shops that looks and feel like bugis street, albeit wider. the street is perpendicular to nishiki market, i've the street name captured on camera, give me an hour to take a bath and post the photo for you to idetify,

if you're going ueno in tokyo, i can take a photo of the map, maybe can poh her name to kio discount.. lols...

but then again, if your model can be found @ departmental stores, get it there coz got tax refund...
