On M1 I'm getting 30% discount plus 4gb data on their cis plan n it cost only $43 compared to Singtel which offers 20% n only 3gb I'm paying $47. Even if I add on data more from M1 I'm paying like $48 but I get 7gb. I agree cos I used StarHub before their data is very weak. I'm using M1 fibre at home for my internet so far ok. Local data on mobile wise not very sure about M1 but I feel Singtel and M1 r on par. I don't always get good connectivity from Singtel too it depends.
Use the mData 1GB SIM to test M1 4G network, since it includes 4G Booster VAS (similar to 4G VAS for smartphone plans).

haha not anyhow use the word value, m1 have the strictest credit policy.
dont be surprise u cant take up higher plan or unless deposit or prepayment is provided for multiple line.
u might still be able to get what u need but subject to approval

Meaning the 4G will be worse then Singtel. I have 3 lines under Singtel and I am very tempted with the plan from M1 and the way they value me as a customer.

Just directly slot in your mData 1GB SIM into your smartphone to test lo. M1 will still let you use M1 4G inside the phone. I can say that CCL's connectivity on M1 4G shouldn't be that bad, unlike NEL (which is the same for others anyway).

Yup, if everything is ok i will port all my numbers over. M1's plans are much much better then what i am using currently. there is no value add in recontracting with Singtel, not at the moment. Im getting much more value with M1.

SingTel only has good 4G coverage in City or shopping center. I would prefer M1 too as they value their customer. Starhub is the worse.

Want to port my number over from Singtel (Combo 2 CIS @ $34.31) to M1 (Lite+ CORI @ $31.50), but my contract has 26 days left. Need to do this asap as my phone broke down and Singtel doesn't give handset discount. Might want to grab the opportunity in the coming IT Show.

Checked with Singtel CIS CSO, and confirmed these charges:
Recovery Fee (for the handset): $38
Early Termination Fee: $0

No direct answer regarding porting fee. Quoted from CSO, "Singtel will be the one who will communicate to other Telco to port in your number." Should I drop by Singtelshop or M1 shop to check my porting fee? Need definite figures to see whether recontract or porting gives me more benefit.

$150 off any handset is applicable for customers who port in a non-M1 postpaid number and sign up for an M1 mobile line on a 2-year data-bundled plan on Lite+

singtel only port in have discount
https://www.singtel.com/business/en...cheme-cis/corporate-individual-scheme-cis-tnc
$150 handset discount for port-in lines on Combo 2 Mobile Plan

suggestion to sign a new phone at m1 and use singtel sim card, submit port in upon last day at singtel
check with m1 this step is correct before signing the contract
tell them to delay the port in date to what you need?

typically for port in fail, they will ask you check with the previous company and port in will delay also

You can't get the $150 discount if you port in from SingTel after your M1 contract started. You must initiate port over when signing up the line with M1.

My concern was more on porting current Singtel number to the new M1 account (tied to another different number). But seems can now dismiss the idea since $150 rebate will not be offered in this approach.

By the way, how much is the porting fee, and how possible to get admin fee and SIM card registration fee waived in M1?

Recovery fee is indirectly contract termination charges. M1 charges $30/mth for that for i/Lite+ plan if contract not fully fulfilled.

i-Lite+ CIS gets $150 discount as part of the promotion.

SIM Card, Line Registration (total worth $48.15) for CIS is free.
Caller ID and AutoRoam (total worth $16.05/mth) should be free too.
CIS discount depends on your company.

There is no such thing known as porting charge for the four carriers (Including Circles.Life).

The CIS/CORI for M1 is Shop/CSC only, M1 website don't handle it. Idk about IT Show.

Got it. So $38 is the additional cost for getting $150 rebate. Thanks! :)
