Porting out bill

So I have successfully ported out from singtel to circles life when my contract ended. I paid any outstanding bill and thought that was the end of it. The issue came next, I was shocked when the following month singtel bill me for porting out about $40-50+. So far I have never been charge for porting out or porting in. So I am curious is this normal or I can safely ignore the bill? I cannot trust singtel because they used to charge and bill me anyhow for something I never subscribe or use.

When did you port out? Even if you port out on the last day of contract, it is considered early termination and they will charge you early termination fee.

I've a similar issue also today, after having ported out of Singtel last night. I applied to port out of Singtel on Nov 11 (after being out of contract), and this was effected last night after midnight.

However, when I went to Singtel's website to check, there was a new phantom order for another new SIM-only mobile phone line/plan that I did not authorize or initiate at all. This is crazy!?

I had to chat/call Singtel to cancel this phantom/unauthorized transaction, which I think they did. But I'll have to double confirm again in the next bill, which I'm supposed to get some refund, and certainly not to pay for another new line/plan (that I did not authorize at all).

Am currently on Starhub enterprise BYOD plan that is ending on 10 Dec. I've been informed by starhub enterprise side that my number will be ported out to 4g Sim only no contract plan and I can port out to any other Sim only plan on day 1. Has anyone managed to waive off the one month fees since I'm only on it for 1 or 2 days max?

Typically incumbents should charge full month then if you leave, will prorate and charge the days you use the plan.

But since the subscription is charged one month ahead, there's a chanceyiu need to get them to refund you back the difference.

Yes, yesterday I asked M1 (although not SingTel but I guess it's the same) on what is contract end date. Contract end date is the date when your contract is still on-going, which is the last day, so porting out need to be the day after contract end date.
