My parents and I are on CIRCLES Family plan.
Circles were giving me a lot of problem and decided to port out.

And this is the start of the big problem.

When I ported them in, I did not realised that their numbers will be transferred under my name.
Therefore, if I were to port them out now, it will be under my name, not theirs.

Meaning, they won't be eligible for senior plans while keeping their own number.

Circleslife was unable to help me with this request of porting them out as an individual and no new telco is able to port them in under their own name.

Anyone has experienced similar issues and has a best solution for this?

There are telcos that allow change of ownership during porting. Vivifi is one of them. I believe Changi Mobile is another.

Just note that they have minimum service periods before you can port to a telco that offers a senior plan.

This actually can be done by a lot of provider just need to tell them in advance or how they do it

it’s something like 3rd party port in
User A is the new user while port in belong to user b on user b nric (see what is their process to handle)

Not all accept transfer of ownership. Have to check to confirm. Go in person and ask. If it's a mainstream telco, inform them that you intend to put it under your parents' name as seniors plans.

You may have to bear line ownership transfer fees if they allow, around $30+GST iirc. Some insist you have to transfer ownership BEFORE you port in, and some telcos don't allow ownership changes st all, so you're out of luck.

So the easiest, find a telco that does allow transfer while porting, do the transfer, and then port out 2 months later to a mainstream telco offering senior plans.

zym can do it, just go to their retail store directly (already done)

A to B user generally no cost, those who charge a cost is due to their internal
as its just putting the donor as someone else
managing more than 10 lines, never paid before

I've also transferred lines before. If you cross telcos while porting, assuming they allow ownership change, no issues there. They don't charge to change line ownership in this case. However, there are a significant number of our MNOs/MVNOs that do not allow ownership change while porting - in fact, those that do appear to be the exception rather than norm. So they insist you change line ownership before porting.

The cost comes when you have to transfer ownership within the same telco before porting out because you want to qualify for the senior plan pricing - the admin cost is levied and cannot be waived. However, it does save you having to transit 2 months at another telco before porting out again to the intended final telco for the seniors plan. If you deal with fussy seniors, this is a real concern.
