Porting over to ITX

My old desktop have been giving me quite a bit of issues, i think motherboard cmi already...and I wanna save more space thus thinking of changing to ITX

I wanna port over my asus gtx 980, and if possible i5 3470.

Which itx case can fit in a asus gtx 980? and which motherboard is good for itx/my port over components?

I suppose you meant nowadays all ITX using latest gen core? That's fine with me, how about GTX 980? Can it be fitted to any of the ITX in the market?

gpu can fit on all itx motherboard. itx case is the worrying thing. you need look for itx case that can fit your gpu

Are you guys able to estimate the lowest budget possible to build the rig, minus GPU.

Light gaming, photoshop (not heavy kind), standard microsoft work

I'm also using this casing. Specs wise, it can take in a full atx psu but just take note that you need to consider the psu size as the psu cables may "block" your card.

I made this mistake but thankfully zotac came out with their mini series.

ITX works the same way as what you would normally expect of a ATX, mATX sized motherboard.

The only difference between them is the size of the motherboard.
You would still have to find one that has the same socket as the CPU you are reusing for the build.

If Asus STRIX with overhanging heatpipe, the heatpipe may touch the casing side which is metal........
