Depends on ur budget bro. Fractal Design Arc Mini looks pretty good. Tho the front and top panels are made of plastic.

I do agree. Seeing it by yourself is the best way to gauge. For a cheaper casing, I do feel that the Arc Mini looks good and suit my needs as a mATX user, tho I don't really like the plastic front and top panel. But for its price, I suppose I can't complain much.

I think your current i5 should still be good enough to play current games right and your motherboard is mATX form factor as well. Maybe you can wait for Haswell to be out?

As for mATX case, can consider Fractal Design Define.

Oh yea. Haha. Just realised that its a micro atx. Looking to upgrade as it doesn't allow me to fully utilise my gpu and sound card. When is haswell coming out?

I am planning on the same thing, moving my current rig, (Yeah Q6600, still running), into a mAtx casing, of course price is my number 1 concern, below 75 dollars in total plus the additional fans.

Short list a few of them based on local pricing
1. MS 120 ($62) OR 140 ($59)
2. Fractal Design Core 1000 ($59)
3. CM Elite 344 ($59)

I had ask nigel for his opinion on the 3 of them and he had recommend the Fractal Design Core 1000. There is quite a number of extensive review online on this model. Based on the price i think Core 1000 is our best value for matx casing one can get locally.

What you guys think? Hope i can find my answer in this tread also

I have 4 mATX motherboards in Fractal Design Core 3000, a compact ATX.

A lot of the mATX casings have the same 'footprint' as an ATX casing only lower height because they are designed to accommodate long Gfx.

Its a waste of time getting a more cramped mATX casing with no actual space savings. Better to get a compact ATX casing like FD Core 3000.

Raw material prices have increased so case manufacturers are cutting corners. My favourite Cooler Master casing which I'm still using is the full aluminium Mystique 631 which was at a super cheap PC show price, yet the material and finish is really good (from photos a lot of black casings look the same, but the Mystique 631 is a really exceptional casing in terms of material quality vs price)

IIRC, around June? But not sure how long it will take to release in Singapore.
