POSB Invest Saver is a neglected product of DBS. When it was launched it captured a market segment that no competitor could. It has a huge customer base of DBS customer whom they can invest without any CDP or Stock Trading Account. It was the first product I would recommend to friends whom are new to investing. I always tell them that they can dip into IS with $100 a month and then feel their way. I dare say it enjoyed an early success of some sort.not sure if you choose to ignore the people that know what they are explaining or don't bother to listen or take a little moment to google or read POSB website. the attitude displayed is a nonchalant one we are sensing from the responses, or simply ignorant.
this clearly shows that you have a poor grasp of POSB invest savers since day 1 and will be a major concern for you to even go beyond investing outside invest-savers. best you stick to this or seek professional advise from FAs and not in a public forum with this attitude. you ask for advice in a public forum, but choose to stick with your ideas and being defensive without fact checking POSB site when we are addressing both the incorrect perception/ideas you had and finding what you had before forumers could provide some broad advice. The facts are as such.

And before you ask if I even know what I am talking about, I have used invest savers many times and have a ETF and a number of unit trust that I hold from using invest savers.
i am sure that if other people forumer think that I am incorrect they would have flagged that i am wrong, i would be pleased to be corrected. there's a higher likelihood instead that they would like this post to reflect the similar consensus on the observations of your responses thus far. Peace out.
As usual the bank started neglecting it as it was not earning much profit. So much potential yet nobody in DBS saw it. The comm was reasonable for the product it was selling. Then competitors like FSM came into the market space. Rather than fencing off the competitor (either by providing even more competitive rate or more advertisement), IS basically did nothing. The ease of using FSM and transferring money into FSM, made IS a less attractive option. Now it is deemed as 'expensive' comm. compared to it's competitors. The only reason why I am still on it is simply to meet my investment criteria for Multiplier Account.
If only DBS knew, what they know.
