I think my W11 is faulty. Video recording at any Resolution is blurry. Like out of focus. Only object like very near 1mm is sharp. Where can send for checking.

I bought it at Challenger last few weeks.

hi there is plastic lense protector at the front, have you removed it?
if you did, it could be the lense out of focus.
Please bring it back to the service centre at ubi. the address is at the back of the box. They will give you immediate replacement.
Service centre open Monday to Saturday.

Hi there.

Jet S max resolution is 1080p @60FPS.
W11 has much higher resolution thus you would expect better quality.

City south, visit challenger Vivo city or Funan or tiong bahru, plaza sin.
They should have stock there.

using courier for service, no issue for us. Most of the time, we do direct replacement, no waiting of sending to factory unless we run out of stocks.

Had my jet s replaced with w11 due to lots of problem. I am not sure why but i juast have to keep coming back to exchange the unit (jet s) one after another. I am just sharing this from my own experience using the camera (jet s) for 5 months or so. Problems include software wifi problem on phone, unit keeps freezing every once in a while (it is frustating to remove the battery with the camera in waterproof housing and doing it a few times), battery also got problem (bloated, although only use for a few cycle), batteries not charging from external charger, wireless remote has fluctuating battery capacity and most recently my memory card got stuck inside. The unit also tend to run very hot, and i mean really hot.

After going back to service centre a few times (at least 3 times), they decided to change my unit to w11. First impression already not so good. After testing the memory card slot by inserting and removing the mem card, inner layer inside that looks like black double sided tape came Loose and preventing the memory card to be easily inserted/removed. I will definitely bring the unit back to the service centre to get checked. Other features have not been tested. If any of u own this model, appreciate any feedback.

We have enough of Ambarella chipset which is used the same as gopro.
I have been having a lot of argument with the R&D too and decided to test it on Gopro. I also face almost the same problem.
Conclusion, Ambarella chipset is good but not stable.
We have not use this chipset for new model.

Just bought the POSH W11 last week. Wanted to buy Smapole s2 to use as monopod, but realized the housing is not compatible with the mount when I tried.

for the benefit of a potential buyer, and others, I shall give a brief review here.

The POSH W11 costs $299 from challenger, $289 for members.
Functions seemed to be similar to GoPro cameras, yet it's a few hundreds cheaper.

PROS:
- a lot cheaper, and I remember the functions are similar to high tier gopros
- able to work with SOME (maybe most) GoPro accessories
- images and videos looked clear so far; have tried recording underwater in sea also. might be able to upload a video on this if I have the time.
- WIFI works! need to use an app called canany.

CONS:
- recording in low light or dark setting seemed blur, heard that GoPro does this much better
- not ALL accessories work with this camera. some accessories (e.g. yellow floating pod), some shops I tried can fit, some cannot. so my advice on this is to bring the housing case to the shop and try. troublesome, but worth the effort than realizing it doesn't fit when you get home.
- for extra batteries, i went all the way to their ubi showroom to purchase, together with charging station. didn't buy batteries from shops because not confident that the gopro-compatible batteries will work on this camera (forgot to bring camera down to test)
- dont know of any WIFI remote that works with this camera

OVERALL:
so far so good. brought it along for a batam trip for beach activities like snorkeling, parasailing, and the recent spartan race. the images and videos all seemed acceptable to me.
Price is between the lower tier action cameras (e.g. Xiaoyi, SJCAM4000) and the top tier action cameras (e.g. GoPro Hero + silver/ black). So I took a while to consider too, especially this brand is not well known. But personally, didn't regret the plunge.

if want to purchase accessories online, i think buy gopro better, cause ease of mind for compatibility issues. now i prefer to physically go and check using housing case for the fear of incompatibility in fitting.

I have problem with saving settings (switch off sounds, and date when video ing) on my sj4000. Everytime I switch it on it will return to default settings. Don't have time to go down to ubi before my trip, any idea how to solve this

Hi sinmarket,

I went back to ubi to get my replacement w11 set replaced. Reason because there was some problem inside the memory card slot where there seem to be double sided tape that came loose and hinder the insertion/removal of the micro sd card. So managed to get it replaced. Now i am having another problem of camera cannot connect to the phone software via wifi. Is there some changes to the software ? I tried resetting the camera to default but same thing happen. Message from app : "wifi verification failed"

Is there other things that should be set ? Do i have to get this set replaced again ? I have changed my prev posh jets to this w11 and some more i did not get the separate charger. I previously bought 2 batt and charger for my jet s but when the set was replaced, the staff at ubi mentioned that they do not have such charger there and so only 2 extra batteries given as replacement. I read post below that one of u guys managed to get the charger. I wonder if i can get this to replace my prev jet s charger. Also should i go back and get the w11 checked? I have gone to the shop numerous times and i do not have so much free time to do this visit.

For POSH W11 apps, there is some issue on the Canany apps.
The factory is resolving the issue.

in the mean time, I try to use FN CAM available in both ios and android.
It works for POSH W11.

hi sinmarket, may i know why does my screen freezes the moment i turn on recording mode? i cant even switch it off. after doing a hard reset, the video file is stationary..
