Possible to defer by one day?

Hi all. I'm enlisting on 2nd Jan next year, but I had already booked a flight back to Singapore from Japan returning at 5.30am. I mean technically I can still make it there but I'd be super tired and worn out and have to rush like siao. Possible to defer until 3rd Jan? Feel like I really need the one day after coming back to prep and also cut botak lol
Also I booked my flight sometime in May cause that time I thought earliest date for enlistment was 3 Jan....

If your answer to that is no, why don’t you call NS hotline to ask?

And when did you know about your enlistment date?

There’s a possibility that if they let you defer, you may have to defer till the next intake. Not sure if you want that.

you havent enlist yet, its ok to be late 1. late half a day they also llst.

or just miss it completely, and they will put u next intake. take mc also can.


also, dont need cut hair before enlist 1 la. they will cut for u. think is $2.
those babi cut hair scammer 1. got many mates that cut alrdy, they will say not short enuf, then cut for u that 1 2mm and take your money

Woah. haven't enlist so can be late? And late half a day they LLST? sure boh? No doubt one can legitimately take MC, but how you expect TS to be overseas, without any intention of flying back in time for enlistment and just take MC?

I am not sure who should be ignored to be honest. And if one is such a saint, there isn't a need to tell people to ignore certain people. cause people can see for themselves who's the real nuisance and give nonsense reply 1 (anyone interested can see the the lock threads of his here). like example telling people that they can be late for enlistment, cause they haven't enlist yet and take MC to miss it totally even when overseas.

The best option is to call up the ns call Centre and ask. But as others have mentioned, it is likely that you won't enlist on the next day, but enlist with the next batch of recruits....

enlistment is morning right... and parents accompany u right... just go a bit late, maybe 11 plus 12 noon... with your parents... find an excuse then ask ur dad to tell them... should be ok...

They wont do anything to u 1. As long as dont miss the first day, its okay.

If miss first day/orientation day, means u go to next batch, meaning you enlist later, ord later.

And ya, find an excuse, and get your parents to explain to your commanders.
They dont dare play u 1. Parents number 1.

My time someone late and his dad go there and fug the commander cause he asked my friend why he late lololol. Ask for the commander rank name n what not.
Even get em to indent vehicle to transport my friend. To the ferry terminal

Rule of thumb is, you havent enlist they cant do anything to you.
And parents are king.

Happen before to my friend. Book holiday plan liAo. Enlistment letter came. Send email to prove that the ticket was brought before the enlistment letter = allow you to enlist few days later with diff company.

contact NS hotline to inform them that u need to defer by one day and state your reason.

it is therefore, up to CMPB to arrange if defer by one day or else with the next batch of enlistees.

do not forget that u are not the only person enlisting and have similar issue
