Hi guys,

I'm having this weird idea of having a main PC concurrently serving as a HTPC AND a PC.

HTPC (XBMC) will be screened on the living room while I utilize the same PC in my own room for everything else; surfing, Lightroom/Photoshop editing, etc.

Is it possible?

I've been doing something like that, but using Plex.

Laptop + external HDD in study room. Watch on living room tv (connected to another laptop), can also watch in bedroom on phone/tablet with Plex app.

Hmm... I see...

Wah... That sounds chim though. From what I dug up with my Google-fu, it seems that I can make use of the iGPU for my second display (HDTV in living room) and then dGPU as my PC usage and room monitor usage.

Or am I misunderstanding something here?

Hmm... That means you're using 2 laptops?

What I'm saying is, one PC, screening KODI on HDTV in living room AND also a monitor for general purpose usage concurrently.

Either display devices don't disrupt one another.
