Post-paid mobile plans

Does anyone know if a post-paid number can be converted into something that has no contract?

Usually contract means a much cheaper phone.
but i like to buy the Samsung Round from overseas (which is not available in SG) so no point for me to recontract.
plus i heard people saying that post-paid plans are actually more expensive..

can i convert post-paid to pre-paid? Is it worth it to do so? Or some other ways that i can pay cheaper monthly fees...
I only use abt 1GB of data every month too.

I only know can convert pre-paid to post-paid plan. Don't think any telco allow the reverse to be done.

Don't need to convert. Just wait for the contract to be over then downgrade to the cheapest plan.

Don't think they have provision for converting post paid to pre paid.

Downgrade your plan to lite plan

Recontract your mobile plan and sign an iphone

Sell off the iPhone in mobile phone bazaar
The difference can help to offset your bills .

call the normal hotline/helpline number and ask for customer retention operator.

sad to see most mobile dataplan all reduced their G download....

now using wifi most of the time if possible

Actually you can port out post-paid to prepaid which I did asked M1 recently except they restrict you on certain pre-paid plans instead.

Thus, I suppose the same for rest of the Telcos except they don't advertise openly fear of losing business as Pre Paid services are most value for money as far as Singapore is concerned.

Agreed!! prepaid is definitely cheaper.

can i request for prepaid via starhub?

just found out that if you dont have contract with starhub, they give a $8 discount every month.
discount would be clawed back if u do cancel the line within 2years.
if u sign up a new contract within, u can still keep the discount.

$8 discount is pathetic... thats abt $192 discount for 2years
