Hi there,

I am looking for a widget like scrollable text. But scrollable text needs Launcher Pro.

I download Launcher Pro & was nearly shocked to death because it changed all the Homescreen that I have setup. I quickly uninstall it & luckily after that my Homescreen came back.

So any scrollable text that no need Launcher Pro ?

Lots of launchers do scrollable widgets - But all of them will require you to re-do all your widgets, no way to migrate widgets between launchers.

Er...dun understand. There are widgets to do so, but if you want scrollable ones, you need a launcher that supports scrollable widgets, not the lousy one you are using now.

appearance settings->hide notification bar.

but it only hides in the launcher, there's no way to hide it system wide, even with rooting. The notification bar is a very important part of Android, it won't be very smart to keep it hidden everywhere.

errr... that's what supposed to happen when u change launchers... u start fresh and recustomize it again with what comes with the launcher...

use 'Home Switcher for Froyo' and change between all the launchers. All settings/widgets stay intact for that launcher even when you switch launchers. If you install a new launcher, you will need to add widget/icons from afresh.

But how do I switch launchers without installing any other apps ?

I changed wallpaper & that word no longer there. Stupid wallpaper that attached with the word ...

Btw, in Android, we can slide 7 homepages. The problem is that when we select a wallpaper, it span across the 7 pages. And when I use my family's photo as homepage, only a portion of us will appear at the first homepage !!

How do I use 7 different wallpapers, one each for each homepage ?

Possible to do that ?
