hi, using galaxy sl here. i've recently installed the go launcher ex, and whenever i wanna go back to home screen, it will prompt me to run either go launcher or twlauncher.
if i choose to tick go launcher to be run by default, will i be able to run twlauncher again? thanks!

if u tick run by default u can go to settings->apps->manage apps->go launcher and reset defaults and it will give u the options again

Install home manager at market..so if u wanna chose either one just use the app.

another question, how do i make the bar below to fit four buttons only? i removed the internet button at the extreme right.

depends on the home launcher you use....
some (like mine, Go Launcher EX) has a option under "Preference" to show only the apps and "hide label" <- keyword

not sure about the launcher u using but no harm trying to go the Preferences option of ur launcher and check if u can modify the "[B]dock[/B]" settings to have only 4 icons instead of 5 :D

i currently using adw launcher ex.
you can edit the label of each icon. for me i edit and deleted all the icon labels. .

hmm looks like there is no way to change from 5 tabs to 4 tabs hor

no harm trying,
go Screen Settings -> Grid Size -> Standard (4x4)
does it help?

the middle icon push to extreme right ...
so now left got 2 icons
right got 2 icons
middle one got empty/some other pikatures

can balance out, at least aesthetically

Nono ...wat I meant is I'm using that app already..but seems that the launcher can't edit the icons..the 2 apps in the front can't be moved out too..
