Widgetsoid.

Depends on what you mean. If you mean overlapping, go launcher currently doesn't properly support overlapping of widgets.

I was flabbergasted after seeing some of the format and the customization some users had displayed here. Especially the screens from Mr_bean.

I am still waiting for my contract to end before signing a android phone, will appreciate if the users here can answer some queries.

1. Does all these require rooting?
2. Will installing all these apps and displaying them eat alot of batteries?? they are not much to begin with if im not wrong.
3. The screen displayed here, are they original content or copied paste from some sources? (Especially Mr_bean's)

Hope you guys can patiently answer these queries, thanks

1. No. You just need the right icons and widgets.
2. Depends on the apps and widgets you use.
3. They should be the original screenshots from the forumers here, but some of them could be inspired from other sites.

Hi, I'm still very new to Android and stuffs. Just installed LauncherPro on my Sensation XE, but couldn't find it in my "All apps" menu. For those using HTC, do we need to go into "Dock mode" to use LauncherPro?

A little guidance will be great. Thanks!!

Press the Home button and there should be a pop up asking you which launcher you want to use. Sense or LauncherPro

BTW, word of advice, if you wanna use LauncherPro instead of Sense, make LauncherPro your default and restart your phone. So in a way Sense doesn't start and you can save some Ram.

HTC Evo 3D user here =)

EDIT : Woah did i quote wrong? How come the post like suddenly gone o_O

Hi, I'm still very new to Android and stuffs. A question, those custom dock icons/custom dock backgrounds, every Android user has got to install using some sort of an app? Or it all depends entirely on the Android version history or phone brand?

For docks, you can change the background in the LauncherPro settings if i am not wrong. As for dock icons, you can change it when you are adding the application to the dock. No app required but you either need to find the image or make it yourself and store it to your MicroSD.

Or you can use this app to create icons

Thanks for the tip! Just that quite bored of seeing the usual "All apps", "Phone", "Personalisation" on my home screen. But umm, isn't LauncherPro an app??

But hey, your phone's default homescreen is an app too! HTC Sense launcher is just another app on your phone, just like launcherpro.
