Sure, some launchers have the option to hide the notification bar, like Nova. But only when u are in the launcher, not system wide.

I think that he doesn't want to depend on a launcher.
Is there something similar to this on Android? That would solve his problem.

I know, but that's the only non-root method to do so. :(

If rooted, there's several hide bar apps on the Store, but those were primary made for tablets, so YMMV. :(

Straight forward homescreen on my note 2. Wallpaper forgotten from where. :D Hide the status bar and dock with Apex Launcher Pro. Show app drawer with pinch in gesture. Toggle status bar with swipe up gesture on screen. That Apex launcher pro is my best buy.. awesome app.

Hi guys, so nice to see those awesome looking homescreen. I would like to understand does all these tweaking of the theme takes up lots of memory/slow down your phone that it has actually affect your daily usage such as playing those demanding games?

Wow.....thread digger sighted. :D

Yes, putting more stuff will use up more memory. For devices that have less ram i.e. less than 2gb, you might have trouble in normal usage - things might be slower to load. Also, more widgets that auto-updates will cause more battery drain.

By right Android manages memory and will unload stuff to run stuff that is needed now, but I've found that isn't always the case.

Long story short, the device hardware matters more than the tweaking of themes. So get a device that has better specs and you'll be happier for it.

Hi guys

I got Apex Launcher installed and installed some themes.

The ICONS under the Drawer/App buttons are all styled(aka Theme icons). However the icons on the Homescreen are not styled but the default icons. Is there anyway I can make the homescreen icons to look like the styled(themed icons).

You press and hold the icons on the homescreen, wait for the thing to vibrate, and choose "Edit". A new window will pop up, where you can change the name, and icon (by clicking on the icon). THen you'll be able to select a new icon for it.

My current homescreens with Buzz Launcher. A very refreshing launcher with lots of free community based themes to choose from and Super Heroes & Super Villains is one of the them.
