Pre WorkOut: 2 scoops ON Amino Energy (Changing to Muscle Pharm Assault)
Post WorkOut: 1 scoop Muscle Pharm Combat Powder with 10 oz milk

If you're trying to skip protein powders altogether, you should eat complex carbs before your workout and fast carbs after it..

But den, seriously, Protein powder is much more economical den caifan or any other source of protein (probably only eggs are cheaper, but u have to take like 8-10 of them at one shot and it's definitely not a long term fix, at least for me) Per scoop only cost u $1-2 to get anywhere from 22-29g of protein.. If u add milk to your shake, there's even more protein and only probably sets u back 50cts-$1 more too depending on how much milk you're mixing it with..

To get the same amount of protein from natural food sources like chicken breast, salmon, tuna, beef etc, it's gonna set u back a lot more..

I wake up at 7 to catch the 7:10 bus to gym before I work, would a piece of banana be sufficient?

Post workout I take protein shake + a meal consisting of canned tuna or salmon with multigrain bread. Am I missing anything?

Pre workout - a bag of natural mixed nuts and a piece of fruit
Post workout - immediately a fresh juice followed by a source of protein usually chicken breast and salad.

Used to take pre-workouts with stims in it for the extra push. But now I work out later in the day and I don't wanna have stims in my blood during bedtime as I'm sensitive to them. So pre-workout is usually some BCAA/coffee/carb source.

Immediately post-workout is a protein shake (too lazy to prepare a mini meal) and a good serving of carb as I need to get that glycogen store in for the next workout (I do a lot of high intensity cardio). I also take my biggest meal in the day within 2 hours after the workout as well.

Any reason for skipping protein powder?

PS: Coffee is also a stim, but I'm ok with a cup of coffee before 7pm

Beef topside stirfry with coconut oil, onions, garlic, crushed tomatoes.

Same post workout. I don't do well with carbs. I don't take preworkout supplements either, just ~30g BCAA intraworkout and some whey protein post workout.
