Bro Guan22, what is your opinion on matching the HD600 with the Burson amp since you own the pair ?

I'm using my HD600 with TWcu. With the Burson, the 600 sounds very good. Used to feel it sounded bass lite with stock cable. With TWcu, staging and details have improved while Burson has provided the punch that was lacking.

But the real surprise was EX-1000 paired with Burson. Sounds downright sick! In the most wonderful way.

Everyone got their preferences bah.

I listened to the Silver Dragon on my ES5 for a couple of days (courtesy of swopping my TWag V2 with a friend with SD) and I feel that the SD is a clean and bright sounding cable.

Comparing SD with TWag V2, I would describe SD as a square with normal angular edges and TWag as a square with rounded edges. SD sounded more forward and aggressive while TWag V2 sounded more organic and with softer treble and bass with longer decay.

Whichever sounds nicer would depends on the IEMs that they are paired with. With a customs that sound bright, TWag V2 would be more suitable. While SD is more suitable for customs that is slightly flavored.

That's my 2 cents on the 2 cables.

Thanks for the impressions. SD sounds like a better match for my quads than the Twag.

I would highly recommend SD for your 1964-Q.

As the 1964-Q is a bass heavy customs, SD would actually improve on the bass with its quality and extremely tight bass. Treble would also improve. SD presents details and clarity more readily than TWag, which is slightly laid-back in its presentation (but the details and clarity is definitely still present).

LOL...i had that impression too!
but when TWag was burned in, it turned out totally different and SD was put aside immediately...

Okie, after a month+ of massive spending... A whole bunch of components in my rig have been switched around!
Desktop rig: Asus Xonar DX -> Matrix Mini -> iBasso PB2 -> HD650
Portable rig: Teclast T51/Sansa Fuze -> iBasso PB2 (Home Grown Audio Silver IC) -> Stage93 Stage6 (Silver Dragon)
I lazy to take photos...

read somewhere that SD initially was created to cater towards Sennheisers sound sig

maybe...
i love clarity but SD gives the dark side
i thought SD was great as even JH audio is selling it

but sadly...TWag was the better choice
i spent a total of up to $1000 trying cables here and there

now i am left with
1 x TWag v2 eclipse
1 x TWag v2 Clear
2 x Crystal picolino
1 x double helix cables(selling this soon as getting TWcu to compare)
