Just started trying out the slow-mo function of my iPhone 6+.

No need to be. Just being blunt.

Encoding settings (from YouTube):

Type Video Bitrate Audio Bitrate
1080p 8,000 kbps 128 kbps

This should help you figure out the settings.

only thru iMovie to export to youtube to maintain Slow-mo effect

I updated my first post with the videos that I trimmed from the original one which is too lengthy. Haha.

i just plug in to my pc and extract the vid out to desktop.:)

sidetrack abit, do you all now film at 30 fps or 60 for normal video recording? and pros and cons of using 60fps?

after some googling and confirming with my own tests, the only caveat is the file size, around 1.5- 2x more for 60fps. Nevertheless one should take full advantage of the improved 60fps capable video cam unless u are really low on space. Try filming motion intensive stuff like ppl running at the stadium, to see the slight but definitely noticeable difference.
