Perform a transaction that will likely post on statement date. When is the transaction and when is the statement date you are expecting?
How do you know the posting date before you make the transaction? Even at the same acquiring bank can post the next day sometimes.
I believe IT systems backend has a cut off timing. If same day depends the time txn is posted? And most banks or companies won't reveal the timing lest ppl for some reason like to play with that cut off
I know OCBC cut off timing is 11pm, anything between 11pm and midnight is counted on next day. At least that for deposits because they refused to give me Bonus+ interest for the last-minute single deposit i made at 11.01am at month end
I also kana UOB One Card as well, the posting dates might be few days after transaction.. one factor is depends on how often the merchants consolidate or batch or settle the transactions on their machine… if you kana those very rich or very low transaction volume, they may consolidate only every few days…

Yes different merchants take different number of days to post but credit card issuers / banks also affect the posting date. For example, UOB doesn’t post transactions on Sundays and public holidays but DCS does. Mari credit card even shows you the time it posts.
Ho would you know if it’s the bank who doesn’t post or is it the merchant who didn’t post?
Usually merchants’ batching days don’t change. If they typically take 3 days to post, most transactions will take 3 days to show as posted when I look at DCS app. But for UOB there are strictly zero transactions posted on Sundays and public holidays. So that’s a UOB thing.
