Anyway knows if the processing fee for postpone of flights could be waived if there's medical cert cover during my flight period?
I'm traveling to Taipei by Scoot and back to Sg by Jetstar on Dec. Due to unforeseen situation, me and my boyfriend could not travel on the date.
Trip is a b'day gift for my boyfriend so I will not change to other's name. The only choice is to postpone to next yr, since I know I will have to forfeit the fee I paid if i cancel the flight. I called their hotline but their customer service people I spoke to is phillipino, don't understand what she say.
I only know that she said I need to submit the mc and email to them, and they will get back within 10 working days upon asking for approval. But by the time they reply, is already over my traveling date.
I tried to go in the website to manage my booking, and this payment as shown if I postpone to other date:
Scoot:
Total Package Price SGD 798.00
Total Paid SGD 688.00
Total Amount Due Later SGD 0.00
Total Amount Due SGD 110.00
Jetstar:
Total Price TWD$14,426.00
AMOUNT OWING TWD$2,170.00
To my understanding: I should top up the difference/processing fee of $110 for Scoot and TW$2170 for Jetstar. Is that correct?
