Hi everyone,
I am facing a problem with my 4 yr old DIY desktop. The desktop would crash and it will go into an endless repeat of on and off. You can hear the PC starting and then stop and this will repeat continuously until the switch is turned off.
The desktop can be start up normally after 2,3 hours. Then the same problem will happen again after a few hours of usage.
Is it possible to find out which parts is giving me problem? I am suspecting the PSU but not 100% sure. I still hope to use this desktop for another 2,3 yrs before i begin a serious overhaul. Seldom use it to game as I got backlog of games to play on PS4.
My desktop setup is as follow:
Intel I5 4440 W/MSI B85-G41
G.Skill DDR 3 16gb kit 1866mhz
Crucial M500 240gb SSD
Nvidia 780GTX FTW Version
Corsair RM650 PSU 80PLUS Gold
ASUS PCE-AC88 wireless card
Fractal Design R4 case
Hope to have some help. I am unable to find the log for the crash despite following the guide to set up a memory dump online.
any good recommendation for the hardware to replace as well?
