Power plugs and voltage issues

Good afternoon to all the bros

Firstly i understand we use different plugs / connector heads and we have different voltages

As for the difference with the plug it can be easily solved with a pin converter connector or some sort which can be obtained cheaply.

As with the voltage difference, can we charge our devices there? Will it potentially hurt or heat our charger and devices?

I heard that if we buy electronics from taiwan back to use here we need a transformer...so do we need one when we go there?

Just make sure that the item can accept 110V to 230V and it will work fine.

The problem with buying electronics is that the pin of the plug will be different. You will need an adaptor to make it fit into our sockets.

Taiwan uses 110V, 60Hz

As long as your device is able to:
(1) accept this voltage & frequency
(2) plug into the socket

you're good to go.

Most chargers now are rated for 100-230V, 50-60Hz input. Better check to be sure.

now then realized the socket seems the same as China type, am i right?

Seems like China is quite a "confused" country and doesn't have a standard type of power outlet. LOL
So I'm not sure which 'china type' you are referring to.

Taiwan would be following USA
