Hi guys,

Has anyone here been using these power track system in your home?

https://eubiq.com/

Also has anyone tried buying from taobao and installing it yourself? Cause from what it looks like, I only need to dismantle the socket cover and rewire it to the track. Only concern is if there's any voltage issue if I buy from overseas

Oh I just found that there's another type where we just plug in to the existing socket without dismantling work. So essentially working just like those extension multi-outlet cable. 🤔

If u are doing reno, the eubiq installation can do together. Else it might incur installation fees. Quite a few steps. Video:

Eubiq got showroom can go and see (I have not visit but plan to)

The another type is something like this ?
https://shopee.sg/product/203178447/6931006948?

The second type I presume when taking out appliance plug, need another hand to support the extension plug from coming out?

Im using Line8 surface mount track and do have an old Eubiq tabletop track. If comparing surface mounted, Line8 can put up to 8 plugs for 60cm track. Eubiq seems to be 6 only (https://www.lazada.sg/products/eubiq-surface-power-track-track-only-i660480614-s2004096039.html?) and more expensive.

I bought the line8 package at $2xx during 9.9. Opted out of the installation that came with it as my ID will help install. They gave me 2 free intl plugs which is a good gesture.

But as for the feel of plugging the plug and activating it, i find line 8 to be a little flimsy as compared to eubiq.

Thanks guys, actually i went down to their Eubiq store in IMM last weekend.

60cm track they told me can put max 5 plugs
plus they told me also that price is for installation of their track nia. Any rewiring or running of the cables or wires they dont do it, we have to get our own contractor to do it. Indeed its abit ex thats why i want to concern if theres any voltage concern if i am to do it myself

Oh yes i did research upon Line8 as well

Its just connecting of L, N, E cables. Can ownself do or ask contractor help u do. I ownself connect for my own Eubiq since i needed a longer cable. As for line8, im gonna mount onto tv console and contractor advise to tap directly into main cables rather than from socket. So i let them do.

Nice looking but never last for long if you keep changing the plug location. Worse (my office location), always went missing!

your company uses the Eureka Brand one? How long did it last? haha
And you mean the outlet plug missing I guess?

Been using it for 5 years at my kitchen. Loving it. No as messy as extension wire. Can plug up to 4 appliances.

i agree in the end you will see the dangling wires from all the appliances to the power track itself...

thinking of getting a Power Track too, but not sure which brand is the most reliable.

Any recommendations? From real home-owners, not dealers selling & promoting their own power tracks.

My line8 still going strong since Oct 2020 installation. Used it at living room for tv, soundbar, subwoofer, handheld vacuum cleaner and 1 spare.

using eubiq few years already..

I installed it to fit nicely into the stone for my dry kitchen and inside the stone for my inside kitchen. can't DIY cause need them to cut he stones and wire inside the cabinets and dry kitchen stuff.

love it. no issues so far. so much nicer looking than extension plugs or those normal power points.

personally if it is something that people can easily see , it looks nice , but if it concealed or hidden then cheap normal extension bars will do.

anything outside facing should look nice

One thing about Eubiq which I didn't like, at least from the showrooms, is that the rubber guards wear out quite easily. Did you have a problem with that?
