I just bought a powerlogic GMX1 mouse under the assumption that the 2 side buttons were programmable (My Bad). Sadly, this does not appear to be the case as Powerlogic does not have solid driver support like Microsoft or Logitech.

Anybody with a Powerlogic mouse succeeded in programming the 2 side buttons ? I wonder if there is a Generic driver for this . . .

Recommend TS get a proper gaming mouse with the necessary functions.

I used the GMX-1 for a while before selling it off & all I can say is that it is a very ordinary mouse, hardly a gamer's mouse of choice but then for the price, I can close one eye :o

Yes, if really want to play gaming shiok shiok....go for the best like Razer.
I bought PowerLogic mouse before. Not this gaming mouse.
Simple $10 mouse. 1000dpi.

After a while (6 months usage), the feet kenna smudged. Then sticks a lot of dirt.

Actually, I did not buy it for gaming. I only bought it for the 2 side buttons which I thought were programmable out of the box.

Well, problem solved with third party program found from a little googling.

Please do share the trick. Just bought one too, and hoped that it's also programmable. :)

According to X-Mouse Button Control Program, do note that Mouse 4 and Mouse 5 refers to the side button, do test out which is which
