Hi All, I'm quoted Prushield monthly at $55.68 and yearly CPF deduction $713 for my parents individually, it seems that NTUC income plan is much practical. your say?

You should also weigh if you would prefer to have the rider. Some like the value of the rider, some do not, and it's entirely optional, meaning your out of pocket cash could be $0.

Aviva appears to be the most affordable if you have children and are okay with putting them in public hospitals. Claims rate is the lowest though. Benefits wise, i think they are mostly the same?

I was researching on integrated shield plan for quite a while as well. Looking for top plans for private hospital and no co-insurance/deductible.

I used the premium listed in their website and plotted the data into a chart. You can have it for reference. Do take note NTUC Incomeshield is way cheaper because you are required to pay for co-insurance and deductible while other plans is fully paid for.

You are required to pay the co-insurance but not the deductible. The assist rider takes away the deductible and caps the co-insurance at $3000.

I am with Aviva..

Aviva's free child cover is only for government hospitals and it doesn't cover the deductible by default. Take note of that if next time there is a need for your child to be admitted.
