I am using a galaxy s3 and these are my thoughts:
Pros
- Screen size
- Transferring files to phone is a breeze (Screw itunes)
- Launchers, lock screens and themes are customizable
- Expandable memory (But I do not take it out anyway)
- Widgets (I love these)
- Google Maps (still the best)
- Easier to borrow micro usb charger compared to lightning connector (androids are all over the place)
Cons
- hangs pretty frequently, even after i master reset
- Itunes has better and more apps
- Iphone is more fluid
- Iphone is nicer to hold
- Iphone has a larger accessory market
- Iphone keyboard is better (personal feel)
- IOS is less buggy generally (haven't tried IOS7)
The Android is like an Evo, packs more tech
The Iphone is like an Sti, more character
Then again, the other Androids may not be buggy like mine. Note 3 or 5s? I cant still cant choose, LOL
Screen size is subjective. I have both the S4 and iPhone 5, prefer IP5 for everyday use and S4 for video.
Widgets and launcher are good to have. But it must not deplete the battery or smoothness which Android is fast catching up.
Expandable memory is good, but look at how many people's micro SD are screwed by Samsung. As well as the lack of higher memory sets of 32/64GB for S4. I still like S4 for this. Alternatively is to manage your apps and stuff carefully, building discipline.
IP5 already have Google Maps Liao.

that's fast!
5S is just faster, it does not really have any killer feature...the fingerprint sensor is the only special thing, need to test it out to see if it's really that good (as advertised). 5C is expensive compared to 5S, so a 5S will be worth the price.
the newer phones pack more powerful processors, the S800 in the Note 3 is no slouch and even S600(S4/htc ONE) phones are smooth. Jelly Bean's project butter really smoothed things without lag
Keyboard, you can install your own. There's couple of iOS design keyboard you can install. But give Swype or Swiftkey a spin. Sliding around to type is faster and more intuitive.
my sandisk 64gb microsd card has been OK. Sorry to hear that some folks have flaky ones. But you have to admit that a S$64.50 64Gb microsd card is a pretty good expansion option.

Personally, I think 5c is ex and not worth the price, why not just top up another 140 to get 5s, however, 5c might be more durable, after having ip5 which is same as 5s, easily scratch as it is alum.
On the other, with contract, and if the price unchanged, 5c might cost 250 or less, which very attractive to students and housewife..
