prebuild pc question

Removing the ssd inside of the cpu that has windows 10 install in it. And replacing newer ssd with more GB. Will cause black/blank screen since windows 10 is not present?

If you install a new SSD, Windows have to be installed.
Unless you ask the manufacturer to change the SSD than there will be Windows on it.
SSD you buy from shops, have no Windows preinstall on it.

If you have doubt how to install Windows, you can ask shop to do it.
Recommend do a clean install then clone the Windows as prebuild PC usually have lots of bloatware.

The new SSD is empty (nothing inside) therefore the PC would keep loop at bios and unable to start due to missing os on boot drive.

If you have experience installing windows can prepare the usb boot media to install the windows on the new SSD

If you swap in the new SSD, you will get a black/blank screen because it is in BIOS mode. You need to re-install Windows OS or you can buy a SSD cloning device on taobao, shopee or Sim Lim. Not sure how much cloning service cost nowadays, but device is $25-50. The cloning device looks like a toaster with 2 slots, one for source (original SSD) and one for target (new SSD). You press the clone button and everything is copied over. PC will boot Windows on new SSD, no BIOS screen.
