Predictive text missing

I just notice lately when I send SMS or Whatsapp the predictive text suggestions no longer appear.

I went to settings and the option is enable so its strange that no matter what words I type, the suggestions no longer appear. Anyone know the cause and how to rectify? Thanks.

Hold the globe icon till u see the predictive text

It was already enabled. I had to disable it then re-enable it for it to work. Weird! Thanks anyway.
