So, I feel beIN sports is cheaper and safer at USD13 per month as you can cancel any time. If you are MR's teleport user, then I am not sure whether MR supports beIN sports website.

Unotelly and Overplay support both websites through smart DNS.

I have not tried Premier League Pass because they do not have free trial and their monthly package is way too expensive. For beIN sports, many of their channels are in middle east commentary but they do have 2 English channels for EPL. But I will reserve my view until I watch a few EPL matches at their site.

I have subscribed to both smart DNS and beIN, and I can view the channels. Streaming are smooth and in HD. No complains over there.
But most channels are non English. I hope the EpL commentary are in English!

One problem I encountered though, in the video section, I am not able to watch highlights. They claimed "you are not able to view this context as you are geoblocked".
Do you encounter that and do you have solution for this?

I am using Unotelly. So far, I've not seen any problem with Geoblock in video section.

Yes, unotelly has no problem .

However, I have problem accessing premierleaguepass thru unotelly, (just in case I decide to change).


Seems like no best solution to cover all.

For DNS vs VPN, I tried a few vpn for Netflix last time. All of them struggled to stream in HD. So, I ended up using DNS for streaming.

what server did u try? been trying the Egypt servers, not clear and might lag badly.

Is it in HD?

- 400/800/1600/3000/4500kbps options
- all BPL games
- as with flash streams... it's not 100% smooth/has a bit of judder

doing great on the ipad app though, maybe try to airplay or something to tv

I did a google search about Premier League Pass (PLP) Taiwan subscription. In a forum, there is a guy saying that he bought season pass using Taiwan VPN and then can use New Zealand DNS to watch it. If it is true, that will be the best deal. But there is always a risk that PLP can geoblock Taiwan subscribers if they access from outside of Taiwan.

Right now, DNS services like unotelly, overplay and smart dns does not support Taiwan PLP. VPNs are not reliable for high quality streaming.

That is to set the quality of the stream. Sometimes if the network is slow and you set to 2.4 it will become choppy.

Yup that's what I did. No need taiwan vpn, use free unblocker like hola (set country to TW) to access the TW sub price plan.

Just treating it as a complementary/cheap way for all BPL games (already have starhub cross carriage BPL)

Yeah risk is there. I used overplay+BEIN last season, that was rather messy at times.

We'll see next week how everything goes... Anyway overplay smartdns is great for a bunch of other uses/websites...
