Hi friends! So after so long of dilly-dallying finally im going to SLS, which is what this post is about. The stuff that i ordered from amazon reached sg liao left a few days for custom to process before it reaches me. Im posting this as i would really like to have feedback on what to do when buying for the rest of the components. So far what i have gathered from stalking hwz forums was that:
- always do your research
-compare price
-haggle for discounts
-tradepac cheapest but have to build myself
-check through stuff before leaving the store

other than that i don't really know of anything else liao. What tools do we need when building pc other than screwdriver and cable tie? Anything else i need to know of? Other than my pc+monitor+keyboardmouse i will buy a ethernet cable as well cus that one faster and more stable than wireless. Any other things i have to buy/take note of? Would really appreciate a detailed answer :) Thanks in advance 朋友们!(which mean friends just in case you cant read this)

Anti-static wrist strap.

SATA cables. The MB should include two so buy more if necessary.

Case fans, if you need more.

Aiyo why so difficult?

There are a few things that you just need.

1. Screwdrivers
2. Cable ties
3. Cloth
4. A guide for you to follow, such as my guide over here

That's all about it.

No issues. Read more and slowly find your way to DIY. It is definitely not nuclear science. So just slowly find a day to do it.

Once finish, just post your pics here.

Honestly, building comp now is like Lego... just fit the pieces in together will do.

If you use aftermarket cooler, remember to mount the cooler into the mobo first before putting inside the chassis. I know most chassis have rear cooler cutouts... but sometimes the cutouts are sized wrongly and you end up having to remove the mobo just to install the cooler.

Remember to use the right screws when screwing the mobo to the mobo standoffs. I've had a couple of incidents where I used the wrong screw... in the end the screw got stuck to the standoff and later on when I wanted to remove the mobo it became a chore.

Remember to put in all the USB/audio/power headers and CPU/24-pin wiring before you slot in your graphics card and all. It'll get quite hard to wire them around a crowded case, esp for the CPU wire which is usually quite short.

I think the hardest part of PC building is cable management. And also
