Price in Funan

Today just happened to pass by Funan, went into a parts shop at 2nd or 3rd floor (forgot already), browsed around. tending the shop was a young chap. asked how much the GTX 780 DCUII OC, and was quoted $975.

glanced at him, and asked, oh haven't dropped price yet? the reply was:"this card just released only, want to wait for drop price must wait 1-2 years"

...

I replied,"oh", smiled and walked away.

Ikr. Wanted to buy a USB sound card a few years back. Went into this ahbeng shop. Quote me 120bucks when I know srp was 85. Still tell me best price liao. Just walked off.

They do not really chop. Is they always follow srp and take very long for them to update their price listing. Inclusive of laptops and OEM PC.

For TS and my case is an obvious chop carrot scenario. Always good to do your homework before buying anything.
