I don't know if the price will drop or indeed, rise. But I do know that the prices of electronic components in singapore is way overpriced.

Not worth to get it at 300 bucks. That cost as much as a CPU and mobo bundle. Anything below 250 can be considered if you really need to get rams.

As to when prices will return to normal, I am not expecting it to happen anytime soon. With such good prices, manufacturers will be shooting themselves in the foot if they increase supply and reduce prices. Also, there are significant demands for memory coming from graphic cards and our mobile devices where 4gb is slowly becoming the norm.

The pricing is going back to where ddr4 was introduced. 16gb (4x4gb) 2133mhz was sold at a staggering $4xx.

Now if you were to buy Rams at $3xx. It's still cheaper than introduction pricing. But still far too expensive when it went down to $1xx for 16gb end of last year.

Add another $5 you get RGB
That's almost $300 just to get that astatic looks ... shizz
Even at $285 still atas for me
So tempting upgrading to 8th gen
