MotherBoard: MSI Z97 MPower / Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.00GHz
HDD: Toshiba HDD 1TB
GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 980 SUPER JetStream 4GB DDR5
RAM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS-X 1600MHZ ( 8GBx2pcs ) CL9
Case: N600 Cooler Master
PSU: Corsair RM650
DVD/BLURAY WRITER : LG 24X SATA DVDRW OEM

May I know the current stock price compare with the 2nd hand ?
Previously my friend build one with roughly about 2k stock price.

I don't know if it worth this much ?
Or I could get other part with cheaper cost with same performance ?

Thank you bro!

I guess 2k is okay for the above items bnib.

2nd hand prices varies alot.

The build is bad for the price (if going brand new from sls).

4790k without aftermarket cooler is redundant because cannot OC and i think you not gonna OC also... Entry i5 is good enough for gaming.

Gtx 980 is bad for price and too op for 1080p, and you don't really need 16GB RAM unless doing ram intensive tasks.

No SSD?

Do you need windows? Monitor? Can afford to get smaller PSU also.

Non-K CPU will do. Wait for AMD Fury to reach our shore and see price first. GTX 980 price really sucked for now. Expect price drop within next few months.

Point being 4460 should be enough unless you really want to OC. Oc need buy more expensive processor + aftermarket cooling

Amd is good for its price for the same price range of gpu it offers. Can consider R9 390, if not you nvidia fan boi, 970 is a good choice. 980 pricing not here not there for the performance.
