Printer for office

Hi guys,

Any recommendations for any MFC.

Currently using Fuji Xerox Docu-centre 3375, but cost to rent is expensive (about $120 for 2000-3000 copies), so looking for another good printer.

At home, i have HP Laserjet m281fdw, but cost to upkeep also quite high.

Print usually 2000pages a month. Need to print color at times.

Appreciate any recommendations

you can look for another company to rent from, or sometimes carousell have cheap second hand office printers. But you would still need to find a company to do maintenance

For home use, you can buy from Taobao.
Business wise, TS wrong place to ask seriously.

Printing in business aren't cheap so can't really compare with
printing at home.
Many factors you have to consider:

- Size of coy, number of employee
- Type of usage color/b&W
- Print count at the number

Forum aren't ideal, call up Canon, HP and etc. get recommendation.
There are rent as well as scheme like print as you pay.
Rent of equipment, buying of toner/maintenance kit are one thing.

Make sure there is maintenance contract else will drive up expenses
simply to maintain the printer. Printer parts like roller, drum and etc.
can wear out fast.

If your boss want to save $, after implementing new printer just
curb color. I know many coy all lock the color function, only by request
or certain individual have such privilege.

personally I think can consider Epson EcoTank for Office series...
ink is cheap, got pigment black ink which resist water and UV light, can resist fading for up to 200 years.

also got 2yrs onsite warranty or 50k pages whichever come first...

Decent printer, but no copy/scan function.

Poor fade and water resistance. Original ink will fare better than OEM ink but you can't beat laser. The 200 years is BS. (I can guess where you got the number from but the devil is in the details.)

For office use, laser is the only choice for me.

my toner is get from my supplier which i rent the printer from.
every month i pay about $120 for 3000 copies. i might as well use back my m281

Just to add, the Brother has the MFC-L3750CDW for around 400+ which should fit your requirements.

actually inkjet text output has improved...comparable to toner now...you can check it out

I'm currently using fuji xerox color laser for 5yrs or more I guess, before that using samsung color laser for few yrs...oem toner has given me lot of issues no matter got from TB or local

so aiming for inkjet for next printer since it can achieve water and fade resistant for few yrs which are my main requirements...no need 200yrs
