Printer for Primary student

Any printer recommend for Primary students? Something simple and consumption of ink is not heavy. Thks

The ink is about $10 a bottle for EACH colour.

Buy laser printer. If your consumption is low, the ink will dry up.

Yeah very low usage. I bought one Epson before but rarely use. It spoilt...

Correct. I bought this laser printer that uses a drum instead of ink. Drums are good especially if you do not use it often as it does not dry up like ink. Printing is faster with drums too.

Brother Monochrome Multi-Function laser Printer DCP-2540DW was my model.

Bought it back in 5th January 2016. Now is 2018 and I am still on my 1st drum. So that should tell you something about its reliability as well as long lasting-ness.

Monochrome means it does not print in colours.

Oh wow...that’s impressive. For my spoilT Epson, I think too long never use and when I started using again, there are some lines printed on the page. Called Epson and because it had no more warranty, the Amount to repair is not worth it.

Most inkjet too long never use ink will clogged and spoil the print head.

Laser usually wouldn't have the issue. But colour laser printer too expansive the toner. If u okie with black and white than no an issue liao

Nowadays more and more inkjet printer got head cleaning function. Best to do once every month if not using.
