Hello,

hope I've posted in the right section. I'm using an inkjet canon mx310 series printer. I'm trying to print some images on decal paper (clear one bought from art friend).

The images comes out like wet spots that can be wiped off easily by a piece of tissue paper. I've changed paper type settings to glossy photo paper and some photo paper pro as well and there was no improvement.

Anyone has any idea what i could try differently or what i'm doing wrong? Thanks

Did you print on the correct side and is your decal paper for inkjet printing? Cause if wet spot can be wipe off easily means that the medium have difficulty absorbing the ink in. Could be compatibility problem as well.

hello

Hi thanks for the reply. I got my decal paper from art friend. I'm quite sure I printed on the right side. There are no labels or instructions on the package so i wouldn't know if it's suitable or not. As for paper settings on my printer, there isn't one that says decal paper...closest was glossy photo paper.

Perhaps I got the wrong type. Is there anywhere else I could get a paper that's suitable, possibly that has instructions?
