Hi everyone,

looking to buy a printer with low cost per page.

Target to print 1 to 2k pages per month.

Would love to be able to scan, copy, fax.

Main consideration cheap replacement cartridge.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Low cost is laser printers. Ink, then should be ink tank. You need scan duplex ? Ink tanks duplex scan very expensive.

If you need to fax, there is one Canon G7070 but can only scan single sided. If you don't mind. There is a software which can help you PDFSam Basic (free) which can merge them together. You scan one side, then 2nd side. The software can merge front and back alternatively.

If you need to scan duplex then fax in 1 go, then have to go for the higher end ones.

I think for the amount of print volume you are looking at, the Canon inkjets might seem cheaper, but they are not fast at churning out large amounts of pages. And mine, for the small volume that I require, required little maintenance but there were many issues like nozzle stuck so the colour came out weird. My volume is less than 100 pages per month.

Lasetjet might be the way to go for you. Invest in something decent.
