Just found this old printer in the storeroom, sadly can't be used because my laptop don't have parallel port. So I thought of getting this cable. But on second thoughts, does anyone know where to buy this in Singapore? Like in challenger or something? Thanks in advance

Is it worth the effort to revive (if you can, that is) a parallel port printer?
Given...I've seen ppl dump their usb printers almost every week at the void deck dump area.:s22:

Parallel port printers are a pain in the a** to work with....im glad we are using USB now.

You do not need to have a parallel port cable to test if your printer is working or not.

You just need to connect the power up and PRESS THE ON button on the printer. Then search your model online for self-print report. This doesn't require any parallel port cable connect to your pc at all.

If printer is in storeroom a long time, the print head is a gone case already.
