Hello hwz bros. I'm a university student looking to get a printer at home so that I can print notes conveniently.
I'm hoping to seek your advice in recommending a printer for my following requirements.
1. Printing 80% mono, 20% colour
2. Print & Scan
3. Printing capacity per month = 100 page / mth
4. Budget = below 300sgd
5. Would be good if I can get wireless printing & auto duplex. Scan quality to be decent as well as I might be scanning photos or magazine cutouts.
In this case would it be more recommended for me to get a mono printer and print my colour stuffs from printing shops?
If let's say I'm getting a monochrome printer, I'm actually considering this 2 models.
1) Fuji Xerox DocuPrint M225z
2) Brother DCP-L2540DW
If I'm not wrong, both models have auto duplex function. Is there any other factors such as toner price / drum warranty I need to take note of?
Sorry for asking so many questions. I actually did some research before deciding to create a thread since I couldn't get any replies from the printer advice thread. Thank you for your time!
