Printer Recommendations

I would like to seek recommendations for printer. I print mostly school notes in color, and occasionally photos. My usage varies, there are times I don't use it at all (holidays), and times I do print a lot and alot.

Are inkjets printer constantly require to be used to avoid clogging?

How much is your 'alot'? And how frequent per month is it during your 'peak season'?

Inkjet inks do clog up after a moth if unused. So if you can really afford and wouldn't mind would suggest you go with Laser printer. Last longer with much more pages and printout is very premium. Can be even more cost-effective for you on the long run too...
