Printer recommendations?

Hi all, can someone please recommend me a reasonably priced printer that can do the following?
- Laser printer (black and white only). No need colour.
- Scanner
- budget ~ $200 to $250
- Able to print both sided

I have found this model: Brother DCP-L2535DW

But was wondering if there are other good models to recommend me?

Do you think you may need scanning? Like scanning of multiple pages?


If yes, then get one with document feeder. Also, what will the print volume be like? Do find out the cost of the replacement toner to better estimate the running cost.

Thanks. Yes, I did consider the need for document feeder for scanning. Unfortunately, the models with document feeder are considerably more expensive.

Would you happen to know of a model that can fit my requirements + come with document feeder?

Yeap, I have found out the replacement toner cost also and for this model, it seems fine

Been using 2535DW for 2yrs++...no complaint abt it...

Toner and drum easily available in SG. easy to install too.

comes with wifi direct printing...network printing..very easy to use.

oso can print both sides which I only found out this year...lol

I will say easy maintenance and good budget laser printer.

Yeah I prefer brother, cheaper. Most important is the toner and drum!! HP one is ridiculous.

Btw, where did you see a pricing for $240+ for MFC-L2715DW? Searched Lazada, Shopee and Qoo10 and don't see anyone near the pricing of $240.
