I have also just got the Symphony Sound bar after the visit at Suntec City. Initially , I was a little doubt about the sound quality. After the sale person did a demo, wow! It really worth the price . I just got it this morning during the 8.8 sale with great discount from Prism+ and Lazada.
Review pls? Been a mth right.

Hi "runforyourlife", my pleasure. First, the sound quality is great, and the equipment is premium built. Before this purchase, I was about to buy Sony HT-A7000 that comes with Doiby Atoms, cost around near 2 grands. As mentioned, I happened to visit Suntec, and came across the Symphony Sound bar.
1. Bass : Strong
2. Treble : Crystal clear
I am proud to say, I have made a good choice of striking a balance of this 2 models. Besides off-and-on watching movies, I switch between USB music and Bluetooth connected to HuaWei phone. I use play music mostly via the phone, because the phone supports Doiby Atoms. Sound quality of Symphony Sound bar via phone is much better , as there is Hall effects. That does not mean playing via USB drive is no good. Is just, without the Hall effects from Doiby Atoms. Overall, is a well balance sound system for music and movies. What I love most, is the music really fills the whole living room.

But sad to say, I am not able to turn on loud enough for movies, like what the salesman demo at Suntec. Because, I will a nuisance to my neighbors. :s13:

One Simple word : Worth buying. (y)

Just wanted to share my experience with my PRISM 55AL OLED TV which I bought in Sept 22...

1st TV - had a vertical line on the screen. Not sure if it was there on 1st day, but discovered after 3 days when I called Prism to ask about another issue (TV not detecting soundbar - this was resolved by changing the settings). Prism replaced a few days later
2nd TV - Could not turn on TV with remote or the button at the back of the TV, there's a red indicator. Problem happened after 2 weeks. Prism replaced a few days later.
3rd TV - Could not turn on TV with remote or button, but there's green indicator. Something wrong with power board. Problem started after 1 week of using the TV

Conclusion - Tried to support a local brand, but so far very disappointed with the quality. Hoping this nightmare will end soon...

How your subsequent Prism 55AL OLED TVs? I'm in the same situation here.

Cannot turn on the brand new Prism 55AL OLED TV just after 1+ week of using.

Now my exchange set have the same problem again, also just after around a week.

Both set started from only being able to power on only when we turn off the mains and can only power it back on after a few hours. Then totally cannot power on subsequently, the TV indicator will just stay green with no display at all.

Got to say their support was fast and efficient in replying, coming down to troubleshoot and exchange tho.

I have problems turning my Prism 55AL OLED TV on. Similar set of problems ould not turn on TV with remote or the button at the back of the TV, there's a red indicator. Could not turn on TV with remote or button, but there's green indicator. I already had my TV replaced and stil have the same problem unable to power on. Anyone got the tech support to resolve this??

I am now given the option of replacing it with a Prism Q55 OLED Ultra TV again. Keep fingers crossed hope this will not happen again with the latest new TV as well.... Unable to Turn on TV using remote or back switch.

Anyone got these problems or have it resolved??

Is the Q55 Ultra worth the $200 price difference over the Q55-QE (2023)? Seems like the differences are Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and use QLED compared to IPS LCD. Mainly using it for Netflix and PS5.

Just got my Q55 Ultra TV. The panel is damn reflective.

Anytime there is black or dark colours in the image, instead of seeing the details in the blacks/dark colours, I see my own reflection. Even at night with my lights on.

If I don't want to see my reflection, I have to watch TV in the dark.

I've already set the Picture Mode to Standard and Screen Brightness to Full. But still very obvious.

Are all Prism TVs like that?

I didn't notice it at the Prism shop, but then again all their shops have dark lighting. I'm beginning to suspect this is why.

their tv graphics SUCKS, worst buy ever
Surely you mean the image quality.

Now unless you have a high end OLED TV beside it doing a side by side comparison, you won't ever know the image quality sucks.

You buy Prism+ not because the image quality is stellar but the price is good.

while i have no issue with this support local mentality, still when u look at it, the tv set is designed by a sinkie company only. do they hire all sinkies or got how much ft in the company as well? also the hardware components used to make the tv are almost all foreign components. prism+ tv lcd panels are mostly LG lcd panels so the main component used to make the tv is actually from south korea. the tv is made and assembled in china.

so when i look at a product, i dont just see from which country only. the product must be assembled and made from the best components around the world. this is similar to what apple does. apple doesnt really invent anything. they just make frankenstein technology from stuff assembled from the best components around the world. if that is what prism+ is doing as well and they are putting quality stuff from around the world and offering it at a decent price (note: apple often overcharges for their products), then they can have my money too.

im not a nationalist. i am a qualitician. more good quality products mean longer lasting tech, less e-waste going into landfills and a better and less polluted earth. i avoid the buy and throw away culture as its wasteful and bad for your wallet and the environment.
