"I disagree with the minister when he says there's no chance of an opposition wipe-out," said Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh. He was responding to Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies Ong Ye Kung following his speech on the lessons from GE2025 in parliament on Tuesday (Sep 23).
Mr Singh cited the People's Action Party's (PAP) "tremendous resources" that are available to them, while the Workers' Party does not have the same capacity, and that comparing the two parties when it comes to contesting the General Election as "chalk and cheese".
Mr Ong responded by saying that when boundaries were drawn in GE2025, the PAP members were scrambling too.
