privacy screen filter help

hi i've this 3m privacy screen filter which i used on my t43 14" notebook and i would like to use it on my current macbook air 13"

any idea is it possible to cut it using a penknife?

also any idea where can i get the sliding mounting tabs plastic stick-on?
