but anyway, premier/privilege banking is all about relationships building. I'm certain if your account has $0 but you bought many bonds, ELNs or other banc/deposit products from them or you have loans/overdrafts etc with them, they are profiting from you much more than charging you that fall-below fee.

another possibility is that they may un-tag you as a premier/privilege customer, though from what i heard, it doesnt really happens because they know such customers have funds elsewhere. usually upon sign-up, they inquire about job status, etc. a privilege customer that brings in only $350k zhun zhun but has high income power will be potentially much more lucrative than a housewife who brings in $500k.

just a qn, which of the banks do you guys think offer the best for their privilege/premier segment?

I liked DBS a lot when I was with them. Good service, never any screwups, reasonable rates on everything, and a good range of products.
