Dear all,
I am having problem cloning my laptop ssd.
I am currently using a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series laptop running win 10 with a single slot for SSD. It came with Hynix SATA M2 SSD 256GB.
I checked online and the laptop manual. This laptop should be able to support NVME M2 SSD so I went ahead and bought a Samsung Evo 970 NVME M2 500GB SSD.
Due to single SSD slot, I used a NVME SSD enclousure for the Samsung Evo and connect it via usbC.
I used different software namely EaseUS todo and Aomei backupper to clone but it ends up with the same issue that is the cloned ssd will always stuck at loading page and keeps reloading.
I did not try clonezilla because it seems complicated with many steps and I worried I might screw up. I am also not sure whether I should use macrium reflect.
Initially I thought that maybe it is because of the encrypted bitlocker so I decrypt it but it is still the same problem.
Please kindly advise how or what steps I should do to have a successful cloned SSD or should I get back a SATA M2 which may/could solve this issue?
Thank you all and I appreciate any help I can get.
